What is Anger Management?

Anger is an emotion experienced by kids and adults alike. When something or someone interferes with an individual in a negative manner, it can cause them to become angry. Anger is a normal response to such a situation. However, anger can be classed as a mild or intense irritation. Depending on the individual, the circumstance and their emotions, anger may cause a person to become enraged or even furious. People who become angry behave in different ways. Some lash out or become extremely defensive. Other people tend to keep their anger to themselves, bottling up their negative emotions and hurt. While some people become reckless and even abusive. Anger can be a terribly harmful emotion if it isn’t controlled.

Controlling anger is considered anger management. The first step to controlling anger issues it to admit there is a problem. Some people have major anger issues but cannot see it. Naturally something happens to set a person off making them angry. Individuals, who have trouble admitting to their anger and accepting responsibility for their actions, often play the blame game. They have difficulty seeing the situation as being their fault. There’s always something or someone to blame. Their fits of anger are always blamed on something else. These people could really use a few lessons in anger management. However, they need to accept their actions and reactions for what they are, anger.

Many people who have anger issues find it demeaning when anger management is suggested. Unable to accept their problem prevents them from seeking the help they require. If a person continues down a path where they are constantly angry and acting out, it will eventually cause major problems. Without anger management this individual will likely experience loss, loss of their family, loss of their job and loss of their own identity.

It is essential to convince the person with anger problems, anger management is not meant to be a punishment but rather to help them have a better quality of life. Anger management is designed to help the individual work out their problems, help them figure out why they become so angry. It also teaches the person not to be enslaved by their emotions, their anger. Anger management is meant to teach the person techniques which prevent them from getting angry as often or for very long.

There are all sorts of anger management strategies. There are programs created specifically to help those with anger issues. These programs are broken down to address different people, kids, teens, adults, couples and families. These anger management programs are in place to teach or help people to work on their anger. Teaching people strategies for working out their problems and controlling their anger are important in anger management.

Anger may be a healthy, normal emotion but when the anger takes over an individual’s life making them destructive and violent, it’s a big problem. Not only does the anger destroy the individual but it also impacts everyone and everything around them. Anger management could change this individual and ensure a healthy, normal life.

The Way We Think Changes Our Lives

While we continue to rail against the injustices we are experiencing in our lives we continue to perpetuate these circumstances and events. However, the Law of Attraction holds the promise that we can change, ANYTHING… and at anytime we choose to make these changes.

It works like this…

Everything that occurs in your life is interpreted BY YOU. You add the meaning to it. You add the emotional response to it. In fact, you add EVERYTHING to it.

It is your own thoughts that literally take the energy “data” and transpose it into your reality. Whatever it is that you consider to be “real” is nothing more than an agreement that you’ve made with yourself (and no doubt many others in some cases) about what constitutes “reality” for you. In effect you’ve created your very own trance state, and then agreed to live in it!

This is how your your reality has been shaped. This is how you have learned what is possible, and what is “impossible”, and (guess what) we all do this as long as we remain unconscious to this idea of personal responsibility for the events in our lives.

This is the important part. Most of what we have learned in life (the stuff that we think is real) we have learned from OTHER PEOPLE. However, the effects of this are profound, because (guess what) these other people (usually our family and friends) all have their OWN limiting belief systems, which is the stuff they ALSO consider to be “real”.

Can you see how insane that approach to life could get? Can you see how the law of attraction may work negatively for you?

So, (I hear you ask) can these reality changes happen fast?

Well, yes and no. Ultimately the speed at which change occurs depends on how much negativity you’ve been living with in your own life, to date.

It’s time to Wake Up!

The Law of Attraction - being a principle of this grand schema - is energy in flow. Everything in the Universe is composed of energy, including us Humans. Even our thoughts are composed of energy. It’s through energy that everything in the Universe is connected.

Look around you. The trees, rocks, birds animals, the air you breath, the planets spinning around in their ordered “chaos” etc. All of this was created without stress and zero effort on your part. None of this creation involved your over-analysis, nor any effort by you. All of this creation and re-creation happens automatically, and effortlessly.

This universal law of attraction continually creates abundance and wealth for us all.

Here is the remarkable part. You ARE a part of this Universe and through the power of thought you too have the same creative power that manifests everything that you see.

The only thing that limits your own creation potential is your own belief system! Whatever you believe to be so, you are proven to be right! How just is that?

So, to get fast results the FIRST thing you have to do is put aside your own disbelief, focus on what you want, and (most important) be grateful for what you already have.

These are the keys to your manifestation success here, using the Law of Attraction. Yes, you too, can create abundance in your life once you understand how to utilize the Law of Attraction in your life.

Imagination - The Power Of Visualization

The way someone lives their life, their environment and the people they surround themselves with is really a window into their thoughts and feelings. The law of attraction is a double edged sword, and to put the power of visualization to work in your life you need to keep your imagination in constant check. The problem for many people is maintaining a clear picture of the direction they want their life to take and what it is exactly that would make them feel fulfilled.

Everyone has had those days where you just know things are going to be all bad, like someone who has a minor car accident on the way to work. Explaining to a colleague what happened they state “Oh well, I should brace myself since these things always come in threes!” The very fact that is what they really believe is undoubtedly going to bring two more encounters like it straight their way. Sure enough, lunch time saw them trip and sprain their ankle, having to leave work early and visit the doctor. On arriving home they find a letter in the mail stating the insurance on the car was past due and had been canceled accordingly!

The idea behind using the power of visualization to draw opportunities into your life for achieving your goals and reaching success is to train your mind. You can’t lazily allow your imagination to wander towards worrying about the future or feeling fearful about your health, because if you do you are supporting the possibility of those thoughts coming to fruition. When a challenge or difficult situation arises, deal with it and move on to thinking, focusing and feeling those dreams you know are going to come true.

You have to be constantly reminded to re-focus your thoughts and feeling towards your goals and desires. Whether you simply want a list on the wall next to your bed or you do a full manifestation chart or story board, it needs to stir the emotions and thoughts associated with achieving your dreams. Using a stack of magazines to cut out and paste picture and words in a collage is a great idea, and the whole time you work on it you are in a state of meditation about want you want. Whenever you see it you will remember the passion and heart that you put into your creation, which can be very motivating. The better you can make it look, the more inclined you will be to hand it somewhere others can see, which is a good influence for them and because you will focus on your dreams more though discussing them.

Making a manifestation chart is also fantastic for people who feel unsure about what they really want. By looking through magazines and journals you will begin to form your own future. Choosing anything from holiday locations and a new wardrobe to spiritual words and requests for insight will enable you to know yourself better. As the ideas begin to appear in your life one by one in one way or another, your self confidence and sense of belief in yourself will grow beyond measure.

The law of attraction involves more than constraining yourself to constantly thinking about the things you want. You have to utilize the full power of your imagination to really put yourself there, wherever you want to be. If it is the promotional work or the company you want to start, spend time every day stimulating all your senses by visualizing it. Let’s say you have a dream of spending time living and working in Australia: Meditate daily and use visualization to see the waves rolling to the shore, feel the sun on your skin, and smell the salt in the air and the faint scent of eucalyptus from the gum trees. Walk through a day in your Australian job in your mind, and see your home there too, right down to the color schemes and furniture. All the emotions associated with achieving something you really wanted will be stirred, and remember to always imagine it as though it already is.

When you want to draw positive experiences towards you, your thoughts are as powerful as your feelings. Focusing your mind on getting married while constantly feeling angry and unhappy with your partner is not going to get you there. You need to spend time believing you are already in that secure and committed relationship, and feel grateful for the good qualities your partner has. When you feel positive and thankful for everything you do have, more will come gushing your way. Having beautiful wedding and marriage related pictures on your chart will help keep you on track, and include some phrases like I have found my soul mate or my partner is beautiful, as an example.

Anyone who wants to truly access the power of the law of attraction has to feel genuinely grateful and thankful all the time. Everyone has the ability to observe and retrain thought patterns that are responsible for daily emotional ups and downs. If allowed to run free, the imagination will naturally wander towards things you don’t want in your life, so it is important to monitor your thoughts and keep your mind in check. Use the power of visualization to take you where you want to go and remember to feel, think and see everything as though you are already living your dream life today.
